Kitchen Plate Rack Storage Solid English Spalted Beech Wall Mounted

A one off hand crafted unit made from locally sourced hardwood spalted (marbled) beech. Constructed using traditional carpentry skills not nailed together , each screw fixing has been hidden with beech plugs and and all surfaces sanded to a fine finish only fixings visible are out of sight on top along with the hanging brackets provided. Would not go out of place in either modern or traditional kitchen.

The finished timber is ready for varnish , stain , paint or great as it is but would suggest maybe a coat of Danish oil to add some protection from usual kitchen elements. This unit also has a back panel made up of individual tongue and grooved redwood pine pieces finished in white furniture chalk paint and two handy solid beech drawers. Will hold 10 plates (pictured plates are 270 mm diameter) and five cups or mugs with extra storage for small dishes etc. Sizes are approximate maybe a mill or two over or under. Can be made bespoke in a variety of quality timbers please message with any requirements.
