This style of rack was used in the late 1800's in the country schools, but they were also used in businesses & private homes, & also used in railroad depots. They are still considered a handy usable item in today's collectible society.

The wooden rods used in this hat rack run through the cast iron decorative brackets. There are 2 eyelets screwed in from the top for easy hanging. It is in meticulous clean condition.

This beauty carries the proper tapered/beveled oak ends on all 3 sides & it measures approx. 24-1/8" long by 7" high & it stands out from the wall approx 6-1/2.
