Very very clean but not polished. Superb looking item and is on extra ornate mounts and rail. Not what half the nation have as its more bespoke than B and Q and sets you apart from Mrs. Please look at all the pictures as they are part of the description.

Stunning giving it impacting looks with a 10mm rail that is brass wrapped round steel and in fantastic condition. Restored I'd say as there are no issues. Last Picture shows all measurements. More Chateau than Farm house. I got a few from the same place. Fantastic looks and stunning and probably restored at some point as there are no issues. A cracking feature being long ornate and pretty much immaculate. It is old and as such some marks are present but it is an unusual stunning looker and is c1920s French Art Nouveau and super detailing. Some marks from use but not bad at all and I have taken pictures to show you. The rail has been polished but not overly at some point. All cast brass no plating anywhere. Weighty and a super quality.

There are 2 screw holes in each of the cast brass mounting plates and 4 brass slotted screws are provided free for fitting courtesy of my husband. It would look really nice mounted on an old wooden plinth to give it a farmhouse or converted barn look or mounted in a bathroom, kitchen, over a radiator etc. That is all I know about it sorry.
